The sun was shining. The day was new. How would I spend it?, I wondered. What could I do to make a difference? Thus came another day of contemplation. I hoped I would have the courage to take action for I knew action was what this world needed most today.

Eugene struggled with his father's impending death. "You should do something… productive. It'll help you cope," his wife suggested. So he set out with a saw, plane, and chisel. Every day. For months. When he finished, he felt strangely at ease. They ended up burying his father in that coffin.

One day, a normal man started writing stories about his normal life experiences. He did this for quite sometime. He felt like life was becoming stagnant. He went back and read the stories he had written. He fell upon the greatest autobiography ever written and it was of his own.

I opened my eyes and I wasn't in my room. Actually, I wasn't even on land. Before I could take a breath of astonishment, I remembered how humans can't breathe underwater. I ran out of air and expected to die when I looked down and saw my very own tail.

Something bright lit up the night sky. Its bursting, firey being shone through my bedroom window as I was falling asleep. My thin, paper-like curtains couldn't mask its blazing light. I was tempted to make a wish but the shouts of "FIRE!" interrupted my thinking. You can't wish on fire.
